Delivery & Returns


Our Delivery Service


We aim to process your order on the day we receive it, if received Monday-Friday before 3.00pm. Otherwise it will be on our next working day. We aim to send out your order within 1-2 days, if received on a working day. These times can change due to public holidays, if items are out of stock or other circumstances out of our control. If delivery is delayed for any reason we will contact you.


United Kingdom Delivery


First Class UK Royal Mail delivery is free on all orders of £50 and over.

We charge a flat rate for First Class UK Royal Mail delivery on all orders in the following price brackets:

Total Order £0.00 - £9.99 Postage £2.99

Total Order £10.00 - 19.99 Postage £3.99

Total Order £20.00 - £39.99 Postage £4.99

Total Order £40.00 - £49.99 Postage 6.99

Orders over £50 Postage is free.


Orders may be sent out in multiple packages and therefore may arrive separately, but you won’t incur additional delivery charges as a result.

We send orders by First Class Royal Mail to arrive 1-2 days after posting but can’t guarantee delivery within these timescales.  Royal Mail say “Although we aim to deliver 93% of 1st Class mail the next working day after posting, we are unable to provide a guaranteed service.”


Europe Delivery

We charge a flat rate of £7.95 for Airmail Royal Mail delivery.

For Wool, Knitting needle sets and certain large items we send by International Signed For which is £12.50 for extra security.

If an item is particularly light we may charge less postage.

We send orders by Airmail Royal Mail to arrive 3-5 days after posting but can’t guarantee delivery within these timescales. Royal Mail say: “Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery times. Although we will put your mail on the first available flight, delivery standards in other countries vary.”


International Delivery

We charge a flat rate for Airmail Delivery which is £9.99.


For certain large items, wool and needle sets the rate is £18.00 and they are sent International Signed For.

Hand dyed Yarn

Our hand dyed yarn is made to order (unless specified).  Depending on the quantities ordered and the time of year hand dyed yarn can take 2-3 weeks to deliver.  If you would like an estimate of current time to deliver please contact us. 


Postage and Packaging

All our merchandise is made to a very high standard and inspected before leaving our shop. If for any reason you feel that the product is not up to standard please e-mail us with the details within 7 days of receipt and return to us as detailed below in Cancellation and Returns.


Cancellation and Returns

You have the right to cancel an order within seven days of purchase or within seven days of receipt of the goods. You must cancel your purchase by contacting us in writing within seven days. Provided the products are received by us in an unused, unopened and resalable condition we will refund full payment of the products. Please note we do not accept any returns on books and/or magazines for credit or refund due to copyright reasons. We cannot accept liability for products that are lost or damaged during transit. It is the customers responsibility to carefully package your goods to prevent damage. We advise that goods are sent back by recorded delivery or courier and to insure goods to their full value. Please remember to include your name, address and copy of the original receipt as well as details of why you are returning your products. All refunds will be issued to the same payment method as the original order and will be processed within 21 days. We cannot pay for your return however if your purchase was faulty, we will refund you for the postage cost for the delivery of your purchase.

Faulty Goods

All our merchandise is made to a very high standard and inspected before leaving our shop. If for any reason you feel that the product is not up to standard please e-mail us with the details within 7 days of receipt to discuss returning the item.  Where possible we will replace them with a new one.  If that is not possible then we can swap for an alternative item of the same price or offer a refund. Please return goods in original packaging.


Orders

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Homespunwonders will take place on the dispatch of the products ordered by you, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following; The product you ordered being unavailable from stock, our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment, the identification of a pricing or product description error, you not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms & Conditions.If there are any problems with your order we will contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
